We aim to comply with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards. Our ADA implementation plan takes our website seriously in addition to physical accessibility in our establishment.

After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.

Triple R is an old 1800's farm that was converted into a campground in 1970. The barn is the original barn to the property built by the Loche Family. Though we have done many things to make the building more accessible, one must remember, the geography of Triple R is big slopes, hills, and is filled with natural God made barriers such as trees, creeks, and steep ditch lines. We have done what we can to terrace the property, make sites as flat as we can without destroying the natural beauty of the land. There are many sites that would be difficult to navigate with a wheel chair However, we have made significant strides executing our ADA plan to remove barriers that we can. For instance, here are some things we have done in the last 5 years.

1- We had Corporate Communications in Rochester NY redesign our website a few years ago and make it WCAG 2.0 compliant. Though there are only guidelines, no law that states how the website must be designed, we have done everything we can to be inclusive as possible. Every year Corporate communications audits our site to ensure its compatibility with many of the screen readers out there.

2- In the last few years we have torn out all the entrance aprons to our office, store and rec hall, and 24 hour laundry. We have either installed new concrete with ramps, or built ramps to make the facility more wheel chair accessible.

3- We also installed a sling lift for our hot tub.

4- We installed ADA bathrooms on the lower level of the park. Also at the upper level is reserved for wheel chair access ONLY.

5- We do see many patrons in the park with electric golf carts, or mobility scooters, and powered wheel chairs. With their input through the years we have utilized a specific gravel that is easier to navigate. (Its fine limestone). It is as close to pavement as we can get. Our plan does have the lower section of our park being paved.

6- Our new splash ground will have a wheel chair accessible entrance and tons of space to navigate chairs through water play area. Careful of the big 250 gallon dumping bucket.

7- Last but not least we did install a cabin that is wheel chair accessible. It has a ramp, and a beautiful hard awning over the deck so you can enjoy the outdoors regardless of the weather. The cabin also has large doorways, lower appliances, hand rails where needed, easy to access heating and air conditioning controls. See the images for site 5 on the sites page.

Please excuse our dust as through the years we become more and more inclusive to everyone. We love to chat, so give us a call if you have any questions.

If our campground is a place you might like to try and you're hesitant, we would be glad to send pictures or video of anything you would like to see ahead of booking.
